Black Goddess Within Oracle: A 44-Card Deck and Guidebook

Black Goddess Within Oracle Book Description

Previously published as a 13-card indie deck, the Black Goddess Within Oracle is now expanded to 44 cards. This oracle deck features unretouched photos of real women, depicting African goddesses. It is designed to appeal to users of the African Goddess Rising Oracle deck and offers a fresh perspective on Black bodies, Black women, and Black people.

The deck illustrates the divinity, power, and purpose inherent in the Black lived experience. These images illuminate Black humanity and beauty while inspiring deep insight. Through the distribution of Goddess images from across Africa, the deck challenges traditional narratives and celebrates the spiritual strength of Black communities.

To create the deck, the author took a group of Black women through a transformative process during a retreat. This culminated in a photo shoot where each participant met the Goddess. The resulting images were given an aura of magic, medicine, and mysticism to inspire and provide images of positivity and change.
